to join our firm in San Francisco or New York City. The successful candidate will be a technically proficient architect with strengths in working drawing production, detailing, code knowledge, and staff mentoring. Fluency in Revit, AutoCAD and Adobe CC is required, and extensive technical experience is a high priority. The Senior Technical Architect assists staff and Project Managers in assuring that the technical content of our designs meet the architectural professional standard of care. The Senior Technical Architect receives requests for advice related to code compliance, coordination with other consultants, constructability, and quality assurance. Requests are received on a varied assortment of ongoing projects in all phases of completion. The Senior Technical Architect also mentors staff in understanding the reasoning behind answers and facilitates their exploration into related standards and concepts. Qualifications: Degree in Architecture from an accredited college/university Minimum of 15 years of professional experience in responsible positions in architecture and/or general construction. Extensive technical experience in DD, CD and CA phases Extensive experience in a wide range of high-end custom residential, commercial retail, hospitality, and restaurant projects, and development feasibility services. Understanding of contract relationships in development projects and professional liability exposure. Excellent verbal, written, and graphic communication skills, including being a quick but safe study of unique situational conditions. Specific professional skills in Project Management, Interior and Exterior Custom Detailing, Code Research, and Specification Writing. Professional Registration Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD and Adobe CC This position is full-time and offers a competitive salary and benefits package.
