Records Management Specialist
Key Role:

Serve as a Records Management Specialist to the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H). Help conceptualize, create, and execute advanced government-funded research and development programs to accelerate better health outcomes for everyone. Work with world-class scientists and engineers to support the development of high-impact solutions to society's most challenging health problems. Leverage technical expertise to provide strategic assessments of new technologies in support to senior ARPA-H decision makers. Maintain responsibility for producing and presenting findings and recommendations to a team of colleagues and clients on the feasibility and potential impact of future research programs, assisting with the management of current programs, and facilitating commercialization of successfully developed technologies. Help clients to develop records storage and operation strategy, establish new business processes, and complete research and analysis to determine viable solutions. Be responsible for supporting the agency's ongoing compliance, managing incoming requirements, and be readily available to shift focus to fulfill emerging client requests. Enable the mission's success by possessing attention to detail, flexibility, communication skills, and understanding of the client's mission. Support ARPA-H's records storage planning and operations. Provide support for the agency's ongoing efforts to ensure compliance with records management requirements and to support federal-wide records management reform efforts. Provide guidance and instruction to agency staff and contractors for the appropriate handling, maintenance, and disposition of records. Assist with records management program oversight and self-assessment. Support Records Management Inspection Reviews. Consult with the Office of the Chief Technology to assure records management technology is consisted with ARPA-H, NIH, and HHS enterprise architecture. Work closely with legal counsel within ARPA-H and HHS to ensure records and information assets are managed to mitigate records-related litigation risks. Review records from National Archives and Records Administration.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Experience with federal records management
  • Experience in interacting and communicating with senior-level executives, including SES or GS-15
  • Experience with using Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to operate independently within a fast-paced start-up environment
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
  • Bachelor's degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $54,000.00 to $123,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
