Your Impact at SAM:

This position reports to the Utility Coordination Manager and works with Project Managers, Engineers, and Technicians to provide assistance, technical support, and coordination for utility adjustment efforts to resolve design conflicts with utilities impacted by projects associated with the Department of Transportation (DOT) and Renewable clients throughout the region. Works directly with the clients assigned contact and/or Prime firm PMs. These projects include, utility coordination associated with maintenance, rehabilitation, improvements and reconstruction of ongoing projects for the DOT.

  • Attend project scoping meetings and provide input and recommendations relative to utilities
  • Provide Utility Coordination Manager with project details to assist with the development of scope and proposals
  • Provide oversight and guidance of Utility Coordinators, ensuring that client, owner and Company requirements are met
  • Assist the Utility Coordination Manager in ensuring that Direct Labor (DL) goals for the Utility Coordination Team are met
  • Maintains existing clients and performs business development
What You Bring to SAM:

*Hiring multiple positions*

  • Minimum of 3 years' of experience in utility coordination and agreement preparation as a lead worker OR Professional Engineer
  • Minumum of 3 year's experience in utility coordination.
