Your Role at SAM:
This position is under the supervision of the Utility Coordination Manager and collaborates with Project Managers, Engineers, and Technicians to provide support, technical assistance, and coordination for utility adjustment initiatives to address design conflicts with utilities affected by various projects. This role involves direct interaction with the client's designated contact and/or Prime firm Project Managers. The projects encompass utility coordination related to maintenance, rehabilitation, enhancements, and reconstruction of ongoing initiatives.

  • Participate in project scoping discussions and offer insights and recommendations concerning utilities.
  • Supply the Utility Coordination Manager with project specifics to aid in the formulation of scope and proposals.
  • Oversee and guide Utility Coordinators, ensuring compliance with client, owner, and company standards.
  • Assist the Utility Coordination Manager in meeting Direct Labor (DL) objectives for the Utility Coordination Team.
  • Maintain relationships with existing clients and engage in business development activities.

What You Bring to SAM:
*We are hiring for multiple positions*

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in utility coordination and agreement formulation as a lead worker or as a Professional Engineer.
  • At least 3 years of experience in utility coordination.
