Position Summary:
The Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support with minimal guidance to various members of the Litigation Team to include attorneys and other supported legal staff. This position requires continual attention to detail, understanding priorities, the ability to handle multiple tasks with good organizational skills and meet firm deliverables.
General responsibilities include:
- Organize and schedule meetings, appointments, and conference calls.
- Book travel arrangements; and prepare and process travel reimbursements.
- Prepare and manage check requests for processing related to settlements and reimbursements.
- Create, prepare, and distribute legal matter reports.
- Timely and accurately manage workflow of incoming legal matters, matter assignments, and distribution of matters.
- Open, maintain and close litigation matters in Legal's electronic matter management, case tracking and billing system.
- Facilitate litigation legal holds.
- Revise and apply templates to existing documents, and format information in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
- Create and update simple spreadsheets, charts and graphs in Microsoft Excel.
- Provide coverage to other administrative staff and support work overflow as necessary.
- Other projects and duties as requested.
- 5+ years in an Administrative Assistant role supporting a team of people.
- 5+ years of experience with Microsoft products including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and SharePoint.
- Experience in litigation legal practice.
- Strong work ethic.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively with other team members and external organizations.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity.
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$21.10 - $44.99
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
