Position Overview:
As a Commercial Lines Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing and servicing our commercial insurance accounts. You will work closely with clients to understand their unique needs, provide expert advice, and ensure comprehensive coverage solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial insurance, excellent communication skills, and a passion for providing outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
* Client Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for commercial insurance clients, building and maintaining strong relationships.
* Policy Review and Placement: Analyze clients" insurance needs, review existing policies, and recommend appropriate coverage options. Coordinate with insurance carriers to place and bind coverage.
* Risk Assessment: Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential exposures and advise clients on appropriate risk management strategies.
* Claims Support: Assist clients with claims processing, ensuring timely and accurate resolution of claims.
* Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, insurance products, and regulatory changes to provide clients with up-to-date information and solutions.
* Documentation: Maintain accurate and organized records of client interactions, policy documents, and correspondence.
Job Requirements
Job Requirements:
* Experience: experience in commercial lines insurance a plus, preferably with a focus on client service and policy management.
* Education: Bachelor"s degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or a related field is preferred.
* Licensing: Active insurance license in DE is required.
* Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and proficiency in insurance software and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Attributes: Customer-focused, detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
