Objective:

The Regional

Sales Manager’s responsibilities include developing key growth sales strategies, tactics, and action plans and supervising sales and business development personnel within the region. The Regional Sales Manager duties will include hitting annual targets, buildingrelationships,and understandingcustomertrends.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Revenue Growth:

Driving top line revenue growth by hiring and team development, product and services expansion, solutions bundling, channel partner development, and PR.

Margin and Product Mix:

The RSM will work with the Regional General Manager and Location Managers to identify product mix and margin targets. The RSM will be accountable to driving sales in the region to hit those targets, while managing revenue discounting to ensure target integrity is not eroded.

Sales Strategy & Game Plan:

The Regional Sales Manager will develop and implement Bravas’s sales strategy and plan within the region. Set goals, inspect achievement plans, determine metrics, track and report sales activity and results from

opportunities to revenue and post-sale client retention.

The RSM will continue to monitor and improve the compensation plans.

Sales Leader & Team Development:

Hire, develop, supervise, and maintain a high-performing sales and business development organization within the region.

Vendor Alignment:

The RSM will promote alignment with the Strategic Partner List within the region.

Sales Tools/Messaging/Approach:

Ensure that the sales team is equipped with well-designed sales tools (CRM, presentation materials, showrooms, proposals, brochures, etc.) and uses consistent messaging and sales approach.

Maintain and suggest changes to information system to support the selling mission.

Grow Existing Customers:

Always striving for ways to increase client wallet share (more products, more services, and more homes) and recurring revenue opportunities.

Integrate Marketing & Sales:

Work closely with the Marketing Department to ensure that the sales and marketing department is always synchronized in messaging, target markets, leads and sales pipeline development, etc.

Key Account Sales Leadership:

Create and execute sales training to improve the skills of the salesforce of the region.

May be personally involved in presentations to key accounts, particularly ones with a multi-location presence.

Requirements, Qualities, Expectations:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales and Marketing or related field preferred.

3+ years’ experience managing sales leaders and team to consistently meet and exceed sales targets. Monitor and track results from marketing initiatives as well as sales performance, forecast and pipeline.

Track record of building a positive selling culture.

Work independently with little to no staff support.

Travel within the region required.

May require long periods of sitting or standing.

Acceptable criminal and driving record.

This is a full-time, on-site position which also requires regular travel within the region. The RSM should be near a “home” location within the region and have reliable transportation to and from the local office.
