ensure proper execution of the client experience for our UBS Wealth Advice Center (WAC) emerging affluent and core affluent clients; the UBS Wealth Advice Center's 180+ Financial Advisors serve :300,000 clients with aggregate assets of nearly :$16B
be responsible for driving and executing various business initiatives that are in line with the WAC’s growth plan
assist Sales Managers in the overall supervision, management, and running of the day to day functions of the business as well as work with Financial Advisors to drive a high-performance growth culture
coach and develop Financial Advisor's knowledge and expertise in areas such as platform offerings, research, tool usage, retirement planning, business excellence training, and solutions that are critical to the WAC's ability to deliver an excellent client experience
manage all service center-like aspects to ensure things run smoothly, including escalated matters
develop the Wealth Advice Center staff by assessing job performance and providing honest feedback
work with individual team members of the staff to problem solve and answer Financial Advisor questions in a timely manner
promote a culture of ongoing learning & development
Your team
You'll be working as part of the Sales Management team directly managing Financial Advisors, from newly hired to experienced, at the Wealth Advice Center. You will play a critical role in leading a team of Financial Advisors tasked with providing advice and guidance to clients and efficiently serving their needs while developing the team's overall skillset and driving business initiatives.
Your expertise
experience managing others or have worked in a similar position; ideally, 2+ years of industry experience
ability to execute at a high level with a strong track record of success in previous positions
previous sales experience preferably in a Financial Advisor or management capacity
deep understanding of industry regulations
SIE, Series 7, and 66 licensed; Series 9/10 preferred, required within 6 months of accepting the job
undergraduate degree is mandatory
known for being a strong leader with excellent verbal and written communication skills
able to manage your time well and handle a large workload including the growth and development of the business in addition to your direct reports
excellent problem solver and collaborate well with other people and teams
demonstrate self-confidence and the ability to maintain composure in challenging environments as well as manage projects independently while assuming a high level of responsibility
driven with a proactive mindset willing to challenge the status quo and implement change
