Duties for our varied positions may include:
Invoice service orders, parts sales and contract jobs for multiple locations.
Deposit and post cash receipts.
Monitor collections and follow up on past-due accounts. Credit checks on new customers.
Maintain forms and procedures to support lien protections and collection efforts.
Enter inventory transactions and research discrepancies.
Accounts Payable, including verification of invoices.
Job Cost allocations and maintenance of job files.
Sales, excise and use tax accounting, and maintenance of exemption forms.
Weekly timesheet coding, including allocations to jobs and service orders.
Research and assist with contract requirements such as bonding, insurance, certified payrolls.
Miscellaneous accounting support such as data entry, filing, spreadsheets and analysis.
Potential for more responsibility as skills develop and workload allows.
Education and experience requirements:
Two years of accounting experience or education.
Construction and job costing background helpful.
A good working knowledge of Excel spreadsheets.
Detail oriented person with good communication skills.
