Application Manager (Multiple Openings)

Duties : Manage and guide development/support resources for the given business applications. Design, develop and implement business applications using and integrating various technologies. Develop requirements and help define technical architecture. Provide leadership in the creation and maintenance of methodologies, standards and guidelines impacting application development. Provide application support. Providing time estimates, project plans and reporting. Use object-oriented methodologies to design and develop reusable and maintainable components. Create technical design and specifications. Model data into a relational structure and map structure to OO model. Map components for use in a distributed environment. Design fail-over and load balancing services. Analyze user requirements (use-case document), expanding on use-case documents, creating use-case model and formulating key application components and their structure. Review and enhance existing application framework. Gather user requirements.

Requirements : Requires Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Electrical or Electronic Engineering , or related field of study, and 5 years of full stack software development experience in any job title/occupation/position involving in insurance/Reinsurance including the design, development and deployment of scalable enterprise OO application in C#, .NET using WinForm, ASP.Net, Modern Frontend framework, Web services, Micro services architecture and Queuing Frameworks with SQL Server as backend. Experience specified must include each of the following: 5 years of development experience in C#, SQL, .Net Frameworks, Visual Studio, SSMS, TFS/GIT, HTML5, Web API, JSON, XML and REST API; 5 years of experience with web services, Web Development, Windows Platform, messaging architectures, data models and UML ; 5 years of experience with Agile, SDLC, CI/CD and DevOps processes; and 5 years of experience working with offshore teams. Experience specified must include 2 years of experience with each of the following: Intensive Financial Calculation or Modeling systems; at least one of the modern web development frameworks, such as Angular, React, Vue, Bootstrap, Ember, etc.; developing Azure Services using Web Apps, Web Jobs, Queuing framework and NO SQL Databases; and test driven development. Experience specified must also include 1 year of experience utilizing Modern data storage technologies such as Table/Blob Storage, Avro or Parquet. Telecommuting permitted. May live anywhere in the U.S.

Salary:

•The pay range for this position is $155,500 to $233,000/year. Actual pay will be determined based upon the individual's skill, experience and location. We strive for market alignment and internal equity with our colleague's pay.
