Job Description

The HR Compliance Manager, will manage all aspects of the U.S. and Canadian HR Compliance-related topics spanning from Federal, State, and local regulatory compliance to internal BlueTriton Brands standards.  The Manager, HR Compliance will report to the Director, Benefits & HR Compliance and have a pivotable role leading and managing company and employee compliance programs.  

 

Key Responsibilities
•    Lead and manage all HR Compliance related initiatives 
•    Ensure that comprehensive processes are in place to measure the effectiveness of plans and programs measured against design strategies and outcome expectations
•    Strong understanding of I-9 compliance concepts
•    Manage the HR Compliance consultant, ensuring a high quality of work, and ensure that the HRBPs are provided with monthly summaries of missing and incorrect I-9s to ensure internal and regulatory compliance 
•    Serve as escalation POC for the applicable I-9 processes, assist in identifying risks and escalate cases to internal and external key stakeholders 
•    Managing plan compliance audits, testing, and filings.
•    Develop and lead the HR Compliance strategy for BlueTriton Brands to comply with federal and local requirements as a government contractor. 
•    Support OFCCP compliance activities, including OFCCP audits, Affirmative Action Plans process execution, compensation analyses, EEO-1 reports, and VETS reporting. Ensure selection procedures, pre-employment practices, and applicant tracking systems are compliant.
•    Provide guidance and training to HR leaders and representatives regarding the execution of HR Compliance processes.  
•    Consult with the legal department and advise leadership and management on compliance matters.
•    Serve as a point of contact during internal/external audits or government inspections.
•    Stay abreast of industry best practices and recommend process improvements.
•    Provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly data reporting utilizing the current data management system. 
 

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:
•    7+ years of HR Compliance experience 
•    Ability to manage multiple projects and day-to-day operations concurrently
•    Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills
•    Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects/requests simultaneously.
•    Excellent written/verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills, and presentation skills
•    Demonstrated ability to proactively drive change and process improvements
