Summary Of Role
As the Financial Analyst at Sterling, you will be accountable for driving results in a fast-paced environment by providing decision support through financial modelling, business case analysis and financial/management reporting. The Financial Analyst participates in reviews of transactions, account reconciliations, and financial reports. The Financial Analyst also manages capital expenditures and fixed asset reporting; and advises management accordingly to support targeted financial performance achievement. The Financial Analyst will be reporting to the Finance Site Controller at our Germantown, WI facility to ensure that deliverables are met, or expectations are proactively managed towards alternative solutions.
Your Responsibilities
Create analysis using the Business Information systems to drive the financial performance of the business.
Participate in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting processes, and in the monthly closing processes.
Provide effective and timely financial information, thoughtful business insights/analytics and business performance evaluations to support corporate leaders’ effectiveness in creating and executing strategy and operating plans
Collaborate cross-functionally with all levels of the company to achieve corporate objectives
Evaluate appropriateness of all inventory valuations and reserve balances
Prepare financial balance sheet account reconciliations with appropriate supporting documentation while a nalyzing expense variances, prepare reports and provide department owners with recommendations.
Ensure timely completion and compliance with cGMP and all other relevant company training requirements.
Prepare and record various journal entries.
Provide support for internal and external audits.

Requirements for the Role
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with 1-3 years of Accounting experience
Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
SAP experience is a plus.
