EchoStar has an exciting opportunity for Market Research BI Analyst (Latam regions)

in our Hughes Network Systems division. This position is located in our Germantown, MD office.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide analytical and ad-hoc support to customer experience for different Latam regions (Mexico, Colombia, Peru, Chile, Ecuador) to reduce churn rate.
  • Create visualizations using SQL & Tableau to understand customer payment behaviors and propose tactics to improve ARPU (customer revenue).
  • Perform price elasticity analysis through A/B testing techniques to evaluate the responsiveness of consumer demand to changes in product pricing.
  • Provide reporting tools for field operations to understand customer satisfaction surveys and track main KPIs.

Basic Requirements:

  • Masters degree in Data Analytics, Data Science or a closely related quantitative field plus 6 months experience in SQL/PL SQL OR Bachelors degree in Data Analytics, Data Science or a closely related quantitative field plus 5 years experience in SQL/PL SQL.
  • Experience must include 6 months in each of the following: Tableau; Python (Jupyter Notebooks, Spyder); Python libraries: Pandas, Matplotlib, GeoPands, Shapely; EXCEL VBA; QGIS (Geographic Information System); Power BI; machine learning techniques (including exploration data analysis, sampling, decision trees, clustering, random forest, logistic regression; and SAS language (Base/Macro).

Will be eligible for discretionary bonus, with funding based on company performance.
