Deliver on claim requests efficiently and accurately while also providing support to the team and department. Work closely with beneficiaries and agents to resolve not in good order requirements for processing claims.

We are currently working in a Hybrid Work Model, in the office each Tuesday and Wednesday, and remote the remaining three business days. This role is located at our Des Moines, IA office.

  • Analyze, prepare, and process complex claim requests within time and quality standards.
  • Research and resolve issues related to complex processing of claim requests.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure accurate and complete processing of claim transactions.
  • Handle outbound calls to beneficiaries to resolve not in good order requirements and to complete the due diligence process related to unclaimed property.
  • Analyze, prepare, and process work associated with unclaimed property and asset recovery.
  • Cross-train and understand functions within your primary team and other teams in the area.
  • Contribute to process improvement by sharing trends, suggesting improvements and implementing changes.
  • Provide training and guidance to new team members or through cross training within the team.
  • Comply with all division policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Execution of duties will necessitate a firm understanding of a variety of company policies, industry initiatives, and legal guidelines.
  • Other duties/projects as assigned.
  • BA degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 3 - 5 years customer service experience desired, preferably in the Annuity Services industry
  • Must be comfortable making outbound phone calls.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
