Medical Affairs Manager DACH

As a Medical Affairs Manager DACH, your role involves providing medical and scientific support for Nordberg Medical’s product. You will act as a subject matter expert for external stakeholders, including key opinion leaders, healthcare professionals, regulatory bodies, and patient advocacy groups. Reporting to the European Medical Affairs Director (with a dotted line to the VP Commercial Operations Central Europe) you will play a pivotal role in supporting the company's growth and expansion efforts.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Strategic and Tactical Leadership

Review scientific literature (mostly medical aesthetics) to inform company strategy, consolidating actionable medical insights.

Develop regional medical affairs goals, translating them into tactics for optimal scientific exchange.

Manage Key Opinion Leader (KOL) relationships and support faculty development activities.

Support clinical research (ISS and SIS) by identifying investigators, managing protocols, and reviewing study data.

Ensure compliance with local regulations and review promotional materials.

Medical and Scientific Leadership

Provide local scientific perspective to Regional Medical Affairs team.

Build relationships with external scientific community and scientific societies.

Attend and present at scientific meetings and conferences.

Support development of medical educational programs and advisory boards.

Regulatory Support

Collaborate with regulatory affairs for submissions and product approvals.

Maintain knowledge of regulatory guidelines and assist in resolving regulatory issues.

Advanced degree in relevant scientific field (MD, PhD, PharmD, etc.).

Experience in medical affairs, scientific communications, or clinical research withing the pharmaceutical or medical device industry.

Strong understanding of combination product (drug and medical device) development and regulatory processes.

Proficiency in both German and English with excellent communication skills.

Desired experience in dermatology or aesthetics, with ability to build relationships and willingness to travel.

If you are an experienced MSL who wants to move into a Medical Affairs Manager role, this could be the role for you. You will start out as an individual contributor but the role will expand into a people management role with MSLs reporting to you as Nordberg Medical grows its business.

You will be joining an organization with significant financial and R&D resources that is gearing up for hyper growth. Aside from JULÄINE, Nordberg Medical a strong pipeline of products with applications in aesthetics, orthopedics, trauma surgery, sports medicine, neurosurgery, and plastic surgery.
