Position Summary:Achieve volume and category sales objectives through the assigned accounts within the territory. Effectively manage the accounts to improve sales, profitability, and relationships with Phillip's retail partners and vendor partners. This candidate should be comfortable with frequent travel and be able to generate new sales leads on a regular basis. The candidate should be able to keep track of their sales and effectively communicate with other team members while out in the field.

We are looking for someone to be based in the region listed below:

This region will cover the Atlanta market (Parts of SC and Western NC)

R esponsibilities:

Establish and maintain relationships with new and existing clients.

Educate clients and attend trade shows to conduct product demonstrations.

Generate potential leads for future sales.

Set and exceed quotas.

Track and report sales in an organized manner

Communicate effectively with other members of the team.

Position Requirements:

• Associate degree from an accredited college

• 3-5 years of sales experience in the Pet Industry preferred

• Proficient in using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

• Ability to leverage computerized systems and spreadsheets to measure and analyze efficiencies

• Must have a valid driver’s license; reside in assigned territory with auto and current auto insurance

• Travel within assigned territory; up to possibly 50% overnight travel may be required
