Responsibilities:

JOB SUMMARY:

As the Commercial Lines Sales Hiring and Training Manager at OneGroup, you will play a pivotal role in managing the day-to-day sales operations, including recruiting, hiring, and training non-validated producers. You will be responsible for developing and nurturing a team of insurance professionals to ensure their success and aligning their efforts with the agencys objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Function Management: Manage and oversee the daily operations of the sales function, including setting targets, monitoring performance, managing pipeline, and ensuring the team's adherence to agency procedures and industry regulations.
  • Recruitment and Hiring: Source, recruit, and hire producers who are aligned with the firm's values and goals, building a team of talented insurance professionals.
  • Training and Development: Create and implement comprehensive training programs for non-validated producers, equipping them with the skills and knowledge required for success. This includes going out on client calls and giving hands on feedback to help them grow and develop as business insurance professional.
  • Team Leadership: Provide leadership and mentorship to the sales team, guiding them to reach their full potential and achieve their individual and team goals.
  • Sales Strategy: Work with VP to execute a sales strategy that aligns with agency objectives, including growth targets and client satisfaction.
  • Marketing/Carrier Engagement: An understanding of the insurance markets, an ability to help assist in placing business and negotiating with underwriters. This is inclusive of building relationships with our carriers and working collaboratively to help generate more business opportunities.
  • Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing their insurance needs, inquiries, and concerns while setting an example for the sales team.
  • Market Analysis: Stay informed about market dynamics, competitor activities, and industry trends, adapting the sales strategy and team efforts accordingly.
  • Sales Reporting: Generate regular reports on sales performance, client acquisition, and retention, aligning with agency reporting standards.
Qualifications:

Successful sales management record, preferably in the insurance industry. Experience in outside sales and demonstrated management skills as well as the ability to work collaboratively with people. High level of organizational ability.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Insurance, or a related field (CPCU or similar insurance certification is a plus).

Professional Certifications/Licenses:

  • P & C required
  • L & H preferred

Travel:

  • Required

Experience/Skills:

  • Experienced in P& C sales.
  • Strong knowledge of insurance products, coverages, regulations, and industry procedures.
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
  • A track record of successfully recruiting, developing and leading a sales team.
  • Must be well-organized and work with close attention to detail
  • Ability to function in a fast-paced and changing environment
  • Results-driven with a commitment to achieving and exceeding sales objectives


Min:
USD $80,000.00/Yr.

Max:
USD $139,633.00/Yr.

Compensation: Commensurate with experience plus potential for annual merit increase.
