Job Summary:

We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to design and guide the development of electrical power systems within a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility. The role includes updating standards, staying informed on regulatory guidance, and providing technical direction on global projects.

Job Duties:

  • Review and guide the design of electrical power systems, ensuring compliance with standards and codes.
  • Update standards for electrical systems.
  • Stay current with regulatory guidance and industry best practices.
  • Provide technical direction on global capital projects from conceptual to detailed engineering, including system descriptions, one-line diagrams, Arc Flash, Short Circuit, and Coordination studies.
  • Advise equipment suppliers on selection based on project requirements.
  • Lead factory and site acceptance tests.
  • Develop and present continuing education topics.
  • Troubleshoot power distribution systems and support commissioning.
  • Evaluate and present electric utility infrastructure options.
  • Work within a regulated pharmaceutical environment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in Facility Power Distribution and Infrastructure.
  • Experience with Power Infrastructure design and installation projects.
  • Preferred: Experience with an A&E firm and in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
