Position Summary:

As an Operations Project Leader, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects within specified timelines, budget constraints, and quality standards. You will serve as the primary point of contact for all project-related matters, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, resourceful, an excellent problem solver, and very organized. Assuring that projects and assignments are completed in a timely manner is key to success in this position. Independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize, and organize the diversified workload.

Responsibilities:
  • Ability to work with colleagues across different levels of the firm.
  • Skills to balance deadline-driven timelines with empathy and understanding.
  • Able to deal with high-pressure situations.
  • Ability to communicate project progress, milestones, and potential issues to all relevant stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of strategies through active collaboration with team members, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
  • Establish and maintain processes for managing scope during the project life cycle, setting quality and standards, and assessing risk.
  • Organization is a must - should always clearly articulate a plan given various "needs" within a situation.
  • Develop detailed project plans outlining scope, objectives, timelines, resources, and budget requirements.
  • Oversight/ownership/management at various levels of projects within the firm.
    • Includes but is not limited to acquisition integration.
    • Real Estate projects (coordinating buildout, moves, etc.)
    • Manage large firm projects involving process, IT, and internal controls.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements/Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business or other related fields
  • 5 years of project management and related experience
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
  • Experience managing strategic projects with executive-level stakeholders
  • Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline
  • Be flexible and able to adapt to changes in project scope or requirements
  • Familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
  • Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful
