Overview of Opportunity

Two Six Technologies is looking for a dynamic Travel and Logistics Coordinator to optimize operational efficiency at our Laurel, Maryland facility. The successful candidate will manage logistics, travel coordination, inventory, and training schedules while ensuring smooth operational workflows. The ideal candidate will be proactive, highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously. This role is crucial for maintaining smooth operations and supporting our overall organizational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Travel Coordination:

  • Manage Travel Arrangements: Book flights, accommodations, and ground transportation for team members.
  • Ensure Compliance: Adhere to company travel policies and maintain budget constraints.
  • Itinerary Management: Create and distribute detailed travel itineraries.
  • Travel Issue Resolution: Address and resolve any travel-related issues or emergencies.
  • Vendor Relations: Maintain and negotiate relationships with travel vendors.
Logistics Coordination:
  • Inventory Management: Oversee and manage inventory, ensuring accurate tracking and timely deployment.
  • Logistics Planning: Plan and execute logistics for facility needs, ensuring customer areas are well-maintained (e.g., bathrooms, kitchenette).
  • Package Receiving: Receive and account for packages arriving at the facility.
  • Warehouse Management: Optimize warehouse storage and ensure efficient use of space and resources.
Training Scheduling:
  • Organize Training Sessions: Schedule and coordinate training sessions for staff and customers.
  • Communication: Relay training schedules and details to participants and trainers.
  • Feedback Collection: Gather and analyze feedback from training sessions to improve future offerings.
General Duties:
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all travel and logistics transactions.
  • Budget Management: Monitor and report on travel and logistics budgets, identifying cost-saving opportunities.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously seek ways to enhance travel and logistics processes for greater efficiency.
  • Compliance: Ensure all activities comply with company policies and relevant regulations.
  • Reporting: Provide regular reports on travel and logistics activities to management.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Clearance Requirements: Active Secret clearance with ability to obtain a Top Secret
  • Organizational Skills: Exceptional ability to organize tasks, manage time, and handle multiple priorities.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in all aspects of the role.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills to address unexpected issues and find effective solutions.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with team members, vendors, and trainers.
  • Experience: Previous experience in travel coordination, logistics management, and training scheduling.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in relevant software and tools for managing travel, logistics, and training schedules.
