The Key Account Lead plays a key role in managing and coordinating the activities of a logistics team to ensure efficient and effective operations. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational skills, a high level of accuracy, and excellent communication skills.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm

** Schedule during Training: Monday - Friday: 8am-4:30pm

Hybrid Work Schedule after training is completed: 3 days in the office (Mon, Tue, Thurs), and 2 days remote (Wed and Fri).

Pay: $24 -$25/hr. Based on Experience

What will you be doing?

  • Monitor employee productivity and provide constructive feedback and coaching.
    •Organize workflow and ensure that employees understand their duties or delegated tasks.
    •Portfolio, region, or lane is managed properly under the company policies guidelines.
    •Develop new strategies to streamline processes and reduce costs.
    •Ensure that quality, quantity, customer satisfaction, and financial commitments are met.
    •Perform metrics reporting and data analysis tasks to identify issues and opportunities for process improvements.
    •Manage and develop logistics staff.
    •Help answer inbound dispatch calls when we have an increased phone call volume.
    •Collaborate with various departments, including accounting, to ensure month end audits are accurate.
    •Implement new tools, processes, and procedures to improve overall team efficiency.
    •Responsible for ensuring client service level agreements are being met.
    •Resolving escalated issues from the dispatch team such as upset drivers and customers.
    •Collaborate with IT to ensure client enhancements and issues are resolved in a timely manner
What are we looking for?
  • Previous account management experience preferred
  • Driven, enthusiastic, competitive, and results focused
  • Prior customer service experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using order entry software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of transportation industry practices and regulations is advantageous.
