Day to Day as Project Manager / Estimator:

  • Manage commercial construction projects in the office and the field, from conception to completio
  • Manage the pre-construction services process.
  • Determine estimated costs of projects and materials used to fulfill building design.
  • Solicit pricing and schedules from sub-trades.
  • Collaborate with engineers (structural, mechanical, and electrical) to develop and execute plans.
As our ideal candidate you bring:
  • 5+ years of project management & estimation experience in commercial construction.
  • Proven experience managing ground-up construction projects.
  • Proficiency in developing project schedules, with an understanding of critical path scheduling.
  • Proficiency in MS Project and MS Excel.
  • Degree in Construction Management a plus but not required.
  • Understanding of project budgets and cost planning.
  • Experience working with engineers - structural, mechanical, and electrical.
  • Ability to solicit bids in a competitive market.
  • Ability to work interpersonally between architects and clients.
  • Ability to write contracts and subcontracts.
  • Experience in writing proposals, RFIs, and tracking submittals.
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
  • Emotional intelligence and communication skills; enjoyable to work with.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to shift priorities as needed.

Our client offers a base salary of $95k + bonus, gas card and car allowance, vacation/sick time, seven paid holidays, 401k, and a great work/life balance.
