POSITION SUMMARY

The Project Manager I is tasked with the comprehensive planning, coordination, execution, control, and successful completion of projects in alignment with the company’s strategic objectives and commitments. This role necessitates independent collaboration with business partners across the organization to identify and execute small to medium-sized projects, which may encompass business process enhancements, new system deployments, and compliance initiatives. The ideal candidate will manage multiple concurrent projects of low to moderate complexity under the guidance of senior staff, utilizing practical project management methodologies, skills, tools, and techniques to ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery of quality outcomes.

Essential Responsibilities:

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree (four-year college or technical school) preferred, with a focus in Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Alternatively, a combination of academic education, professional training, or work experience demonstrating the ability to perform the duties of the position.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in project management.
  • Experience in healthcare management is preferred.

Computer Skills: Proficient in advanced MS Office applications.

Certifications: PMP or equivalent project management certification is preferred.

Other Requirements:

  • Experience in fostering an effective team environment, building strong relationships, negotiating, resolving conflicts, and managing resources in a matrix environment is essential.
  • Demonstrated application of project management methodologies (Agile, SDLC, etc.) is required. Familiarity with project management software, such as MS Project, is a plus.
  • Experience as both a Business Unit Project Manager and IT Project Manager is advantageous.
