The Talent Development Specialist is an integral member of the Global HR Team and will support key programs within the Talent Management function. The specialist will have accountability for Tennant company's listening strategy, performance management, leadership development programs, employee development tools, and support efforts that enhance continuous learning. A key priority for this role will be to partner strategically with members for the HR team, as well as across the organization, to ensure best practices are leveraged. This position reports to the Sr. Manager of Talent Development and will work collaboratively with the Talent Leadership team. Responsibilities Design and develop resources and tools that support talent development initiatives including (but not limited to) performance management, leader and employee development, and engagement survey action planning. Key accountability for the Tennant Listening strategy which includes messaging, enterprise engagement measurements & insights, onboarding and exit surveys, and partnering with the business on other ad hoc survey requests. Responsible for deployment of Global Tennant performance management program and continuous improvement in tools and processes. Responsible for management of the Tennant Talent Framework and tools. Facilitate learning sessions (both in-person and virtually) within existing and future leader/employee development programming. Partner with the Talent Management coordinator on key employee experience and recognition programs, Leading Edge, Kids Day, Club 25. Education and Experience Required Bachelor’s degree in business, Human Resources, or related field. Minimum of 5 years Talent management or relevant experience, including hands-on experience in designing, developing, and facilitating talent programs and practices, preferably in a global environment. Advanced use of Microsoft Office suite of software (especially, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Curiosity to explore, implement, and integrate new approaches and technologies. Demonstrated adult learning techniques and facilitation skills. Self-directed learner who seeks opportunities to develop additional skills. Independently and proficiently applies occupational knowledge and skills. Remains current with trends in the profession. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently in a diverse and fast-paced environment. Extremely organized and detail-oriented with strong project management skills. Begin your journey with us.
