The Global Rotating Equipment CoE Engineer also maintains networks outside Nouryon in order to capture developments and learnings that are relevant for Nouryon as well. In your future role as Global Rotating Equipment CoE Engineer you will Monitor adherence to standards and rotating equipment reliability Advise regional teams on how to drive improvement in reliability of rotating equipment Advise Nouryon leadership regarding rotating equipment strategy Design and maintain standards regarding design and mechanical integrity of rotating equipment Support deployment of standards across the regions and sites Identify good practices and drive deployment of these good practices across the regions and sites (e.g. “mechanical seals” or “vibration measurement and analysis”) Advise in selection of software tools to support reliability of rotating equipment Assess state of the art techniques for condition based/predictive maintenance for different types of rotating equipment, and develop these into packages that can be deployed with/through regional teams Assess the use of AI supported monitoring as well as state of the art sensor techniques Monitor, and if needed, support root cause analysis/root cause problem solving for serious failures. Drive quality of RCAs & drive application of learnings across sites/regions Support design for reliability by setting up design and construction standards (e.g. mechanical seals) Assess CAPEX project charters for urgency We believe you bring Mechanical engineering degree or similar field of study (bachelor’s or master’s) Extensive experience (minimum 10 years preferred) in and deep knowledge in the design, operation, and maintenance of Rotating equipment and associated support systems, as well as predictive/condition based methods applied in the process industry (chemical, mineral, oil & gas). Active knowledge on standards and codes and their application on rotating equipment API, ASTM, ASME, European standards and GB codes. Applicable for Nouryon: Pumps & Mechanical Seals, Compressors and dry gas seals, Turbines, Gear units and couplings, protective systems for rotating equipment, Centrifugal fans, Critical speeds and balancing, pulsation and vibration control, centrifuges, mixers and agitators, grinders, lubrication Experience in at least a regional Rotating Equipment role; setting standards and driving implementation across multiple sites.
