Key ResponsibilitiesThe Sales Engineer for Rotating Equipment will be responsible for:
- Creating strategic plans and accurate forecasts for designated accounts.
- Effectively communicating with internal and external stakeholders to proactively address unique customer challenges.
- Developing and expanding sales within the assigned territory.
- Keeping abreast of the latest advancements in Rotating Equipment relevant to our product offerings.
- Identifying new sales and service opportunities within the territory.
- Resolving Rotating Equipment issues utilizing the products we represent.
- Understanding customer objectives and supply chain initiatives to provide proactive solutions.
- Building and nurturing relationships with key decision-makers in customer organizations.
- Demonstrating a customer-centric approach with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets and delivering cost-saving solutions.
- Maintaining strong process discipline.
- Submitting monthly reports for key accounts, highlighting any changes, service challenges, competitive pressures, and customer initiatives.
The ideal candidate for the Sales Engineer for Rotating Equipment position will possess:
- A minimum of 2 years of outside sales experience in Rotating Equipment, or a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Distribution, Engineering, or a mechanical background in lieu of experience.
- A strong customer-service orientation.
- Proficiency in computer applications.
- Excellent organizational and detail-oriented skills.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.
- Experience in generating proposals and tailored solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- A self-motivated approach with the ability to work independently.
- A history of maintaining robust, long-term customer relationships with significant repeat business.
- An acceptable driving record as per company standards.

Shift Time/Overtime: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm.
Travel: Travel within the designated territory.
