As a Validation Engineer, you will be responsible for assuring the acceptability of products, traceability, and accuracy of documentation. You will engage in various analytical, auditing, inspection, and product support duties. Your primary responsibilities will include new tooling and component inspection, implementing corrective actions, driving continuous quality improvement, and managing gaging instruments. You will work closely with various departments to reduce process variations and ensure the delivery of quality products that meet all customer requirements. Additionally, you will substitute in the absence of the QA Director and play a vital role in training other personnel on quality-related tasks.

Job Type

This is a permanent position.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Torrington, Connecticut.

Work Environment

This role requires a willingness to be hands-on and spend time on the shop floor. You will also be involved in ISO audits or customer audits, and assist with training employees to perform quality tasks to meet quality production standards. The position may involve substituting for the QA Director when necessary and actively contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the department and company-wide.
