Banking Market President

As a Banking Market President, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our banking operations and leading our market growth strategies. You will work closely with the executive team to drive business development initiatives, expand customer relationships, and implement effective sales strategies. The successful candidate will have a deep knowledge of the banking industry, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record of driving growth and profitability.

This is a De Novo full services branch and will be responsible to assist with the hiring and onboarding of new employees along with building a loan portfolio and core deposits.  

  • Develop and execute market growth strategies to expand the bank's customer base and capture new business opportunities.
  • Provide strong leadership and guidance to the bank's management team, fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability.
  • Drive business development initiatives, including identifying potential partnerships and acquisition opportunities.
  • Oversee the implementation of effective sales strategies and ensure the achievement of revenue targets.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify market opportunities and address potential threats.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, regulators, and community organizations.
  • Ensure strict adherence to compliance and regulatory requirements and promote a culture of risk management and operational excellence.

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in the banking industry, with a focus on business development and/or market leadership
  • Proven track record of driving growth and profitability in a banking environment
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of banking products, services, and regulations
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing market conditions.
