JOB SUMMARY: Development of existing and new business contacts in order to generate increase revenue and build relationships. Conduct product trainings for clients and front-line travel agents. Seek out new revenue generating business opportunities. Responsible for handling and executing items or projects needed in day-to-day business between the end client and all Universal Orlando internal departments, including UPRV, Resorts, Operations, Legal and Finance. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: Create strong relationships with key client stakeholders at both senior and mid-management levels with assigned account base. Develop a comprehensive sales plan to include strategy for attaining established monthly, quarterly and annual sales quotas relative to revenue and attendance. Develop specific sales objectives and business plans with all designated accounts, to include marketing and sales strategies. Measure, develop and analyze trends in the marketplace. Accurately report competitive information along with changes in the marketplace. Analyze business practices and business models using Universal Destinations and Experiences tools and resources. Proficiently communicate information on all Universal Destinations and Experiences products and services. Develop and provide training and sales tools in conjunction with the Marketing Dept. to support the needs of internal/external internal/external clients. Travel to and participate in appropriate trade shows, vendor seminars and industry events as required. Aggressive travel schedule with working nights and weekends periodically required. Work within and manage established budgets, including marketing and T&E budgets. Provides leadership and directly manages business development managers. Motivates their teams to generate leads, build client relationships, set targets to hit or exceed revenue forecasts, and ultimately meet customer needs. Reviews and analyzes sales and operational records and reports; uses data to project sales, determine profitability and targets, and identify potential new markets. Work collaboratively with the sales and marketing teams and fosters a culture of continuous process improvement. Drive TSAT responsibilities to nurture their team’s personal growth, build professional relationships, and gain exposure to new perspectives within UDX. Promote Universal Destinations and Experiences to prospective clients by conducting trainings of the destination. Maintains contact with active accounts and promote repeat business. Follows up with past accounts for future leads and works to obtain new business opportunities to grow the sales channel. Attend meetings, trainings and events to keep abreast of the industry. Maintain current knowledge on all UO programs, including activities in parks, hotels and to be a useful resource for clients. Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities. Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, marketing or business administration required. EXPERIENCE: 5+ Years sales experience in the travel industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 3+ Years experience managing a sales team.
