Sales Manager Job Description : The Sales Manager is responsible for creating and implementing sales strategies to achieve sales targets with the help of the sales staff. Below is the ideal Job Description of a Sales Manager. Sales Manager Duties & Responsibilities Plan, organize, direct & control sales staff to meet sales targets. Motivate, counsel, and develop skills and product knowledge within the sales team. Establish sales objectives by forecasting & setting up targets for the assigned region. Assign sales targets to the sales staff. Develop field sales action plans. Ensure the assigned sales targets are met. Monitor sales staff performance on a daily, weekly, monthly & quarterly basis. Work closely with the marketing team to develop an effective marketing plan. Review entire inventory & ensure the required inventory is available. Recruit, hire & train sales staff. Escalate all customer complaints. Ensure customer satisfaction by asking for feedback. Attend various exhibitions & events to build relationships with customers. Ensure that each sales lead is given high priority to accelerate sales closers. Skills & Qualifications At least 5-7 years of sales experience, with a minimum of 3 years of team handling experience preferred. A go-getter attitude & ability to meet deadlines. A proven sales record. Ability to retain & motivate the team. Excellent verbal & communication skills. Able to negotiate & communicate with clients on high-volume deals. Extensive experience in supplier relationship management. Able to handle both direct & channel sales for the products. Willingness to travel within the assigned territory. Strong knowledge of the market. Able to operate in a fast-paced changing market & handle competition. #J-18808-Ljbffr
