Responsibilities:

  • Setting objectives and goals, managing sales staff, developing the sales department, conducting customer and sales meetings and performing marketing functions
  • Analyzing sales activity reports against goals and budgets
  • Determining responsibilities of assigned region and sales
  • Traveling regularly to access, coach and mentor sales team
  • Creating and implementing effective sales strategies
  • Working with Operations, Production and Accounting to efficiently maximize both present and long-term sales and gross profits
  • Developing key customer relationships and strategies for regional sales
  • Working with engineers, architects and in-house personnel to help define project requirements

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of proven success leading a sales team
  • Building or Construction industry experience is required
  • Strong written and oral communication, good leadership and interpersonal skills, and consistent follow-through
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office products
  • 50% travel is required
