Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a business-related field or FLMI designation with five years of insurance experience
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Acceptable score on an analytical aptitude test to suggest an adequate analytical ability necessary to perform basic compliance functions
  • Good working knowledge of SFBL policies, procedures and products as they relate to servicing our business preferred
  • Basic knowledge and use of Microsoft Office applications
  • Proficient in Excel or willing to become proficient in Excel through training
Responsibilities

•Timely and accurately complete all tasks and projects assigned to him or her by following written procedures designed to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, statutes and rules.

•Research, review and communicate changes in regulations, statutes and rules as they apply to an assigned subject matter.

•Cross train in other compliance-related areas, as directed by the Compliance management.

•Assist with special projects or perform other compliance-related tasks as assigned by Compliance management.
