As a People Operations Generalist at Regard, you’ll be supporting our People Team in all human resources functions. Your primary objective will be to support the day-to-day back-end administration of all compliance, benefits, payroll, and onboarding functions while our People Operations Manager is on leave. The ideal candidate is a quick learner who thrives in a dynamic and demanding environment, is detail-oriented, and embraces a collaborative work style. This role reports to our Director of People Operations. This will be a short-term 6 month position from September 2024 - March 2025. Responsibilities Assist with new-hire orientation and team member onboarding, including verifying I9’s Ensure the accuracy of all benefit enrollments and team member contact/personal information in Gusto Manage all incoming notices and requests from local, state, and federal agencies keeping Regard in compliance Facilitate new hire orientations and conduct exit interviews Document and manage all payroll changes and updates Assist in coordinating and executing bi-annual reviews Assist in the rollout of internal processes and programs and revamp current employee programs owned by People Operations to ensure continued effectiveness Ensure the company is compliant by managing annual required training such as harassment and Workplace Violence training Collaborate with the People Team and other stakeholders to drive People team initiatives and ad hoc projects to support the team toward business goals Qualifications A Bachelor’s degree in human resources, a related field of study, or equivalent experience 4+ years of HR experience 2+ years of experience working in a tech startup Experience with implementation and management of an HRIS Knowledgeable in U.S. employment laws Proficient in Mac, G-Suite and Slack Preferred Qualifications Proficiency in project management and strong analytical and reporting abilities Experience prioritizing and multitasking in a dynamic environment with competing demands while keeping partners well-advised of progress Experience in employee onboarding and separations Ability to demonstrate effective communication and problem-solving skills Independent and collaborative worker Comp | Perks | Benefits 99% employer paid health benefits (Medical, Dental, and Vision) Eligible for PTO Company-sponsored social events Free lunches, snacks, and beverages at the office Our goal at Regard is to provide and maintain a work environment that fosters mutual respect, professionalism and cooperation.
