Would you like to work remotely? About The Role As a Fraud Business Analyst, you will process transactional data that determines differing vectors of fraud attacks. You will understand attack vectors, vulnerabilities, and drive mitigation of fraud. You will monitor fraud strategy deployments, continuous adaptation of trends, and the effectiveness of the tool's abilities to detect fraud. Responsibilities: Working closely with project managers to understand and maintain focus on their analytical needs, including identifying critical metrics and KPIs, and deliver actionable insights to relevant decision-makers. Proactively analyzing data to answer key questions from stakeholders or out of self-initiated curiosity with an eye for what drives business performance, investigating and communicating areas for improvement in efficiency and productivity. Creating and maintaining rich interactive visualizations through data interpretation and analysis integrating various reporting components from multiple data sources. Defining and implementing data acquisition and integration logic, selecting appropriate combination of methods and tools within defined technology stack to ensure optimal scalability and performance of the solution. Developing and maintaining databases by acquiring data from primary and secondary sources and building scripts that will make our data evaluation process more flexible or scalable across data sets. Understanding requirements, gathering data from various data sources, conducting business analysis, and providing quantitative insights through presentations, reports, and dashboards. Analyzing and interpreting a mix of qualitative and quantitative data, constructing compelling narratives, and providing recommendations on complex topics. Conducting analysis and turn insights into actionable changes for predictive models or policies. Qualifications: Have bachelor’s degree in business administration, mathematics, computer science, economics, statistics, or a closely allied field. Possess three years in a reporting or business analyst role with experience working with metrics and data, reports, and providing analysis on datasets supporting a leadership team. Have experience with evaluating, analyzing, and creating visualizations for large or disparate datasets. Show proven analytic skills, including mining, evaluation, analysis, and visualization. Display technical writing experience in relevant areas, including queries, reports, and presentations. Have experience presenting and explaining data or metrics to a nontechnical audience. Demonstrate written and verbal communication skills. Possess advanced SAS or SQL skills with the ability to learn other analytic tools. Flexible Working At Conduent, we want you to be yourself. For this position, actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. The estimated salary range for this role is $55-75k.
