Your Opportunity:
As a Fraud Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in analyzing transactional data to identify various fraud attack vectors. This position allows you to work remotely, providing flexibility while you contribute to fraud mitigation strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with project managers to identify analytical needs, focusing on critical metrics and KPIs to deliver actionable insights.
- Conduct proactive data analysis to address key stakeholder inquiries and identify opportunities for enhancing efficiency and productivity.
- Create and maintain engaging visualizations through comprehensive data interpretation, integrating multiple reporting components.
- Define and implement data acquisition strategies, selecting the best methods and tools to ensure optimal performance and scalability.
- Develop and maintain databases by sourcing data from primary and secondary channels, enhancing the flexibility of our data evaluation processes.
- Gather requirements and conduct business analysis to provide quantitative insights through reports, presentations, and dashboards.
- Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to construct compelling narratives and provide recommendations on complex issues.
- Transform insights into actionable strategies for predictive models or policy adjustments.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, mathematics, computer science, economics, statistics, or a related field.
- A minimum of three years in a reporting or business analyst role, with experience in metrics, data analysis, and reporting.
- Proficiency in evaluating and visualizing large datasets.
- Demonstrated analytical skills, including data mining, evaluation, and visualization.
- Experience in technical writing related to queries, reports, and presentations.
- Ability to present and explain data to non-technical audiences effectively.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Advanced skills in SAS or SQL, with a willingness to learn additional analytical tools.
