General Summary:

Immediate opportunities exist in QUALCOMM's Audio Systems Group to work in the area of audio and speech signal processing for mobile, XR, IoT, and automotive products. You will be part of the Audio Systems and R&D team and develop software for Qualcomm Snapdragon platforms.
Responsibilities:
Audio technology research and software development for reference design and IP.
End-2-end Audio system design, development, prototyping, and commercialization of new audio features/technologies on Qualcomm platforms.
Optimization of audio algorithms on DSP and ARM on Qualcomm SoC devices.
Requirement analysis, troubleshooting, and testing of Audio algorithms.
Algorithm implementation, acoustic performance testing, machine learning model validation, demo prototyping, and documentation.
Supporting technology productization and marketing teams, customer engineering, and commercialization.
Technology evaluation and competitive analysis.
Requirements:
Solid background in audio signal processing.
Strong programming skills in Embedded C/C++.
Expertise in developing software on embedded platforms.
Knowledge of DSP architecture, real-time operating systems, and software design patterns.
Experience in fixed and floating-point implementation of Audio algorithms, audio system design, and acoustic measurements.
Experience with Python, Matlab, machine learning tools, and Audio module development is a plus.
Ability to work in a dynamic environment, problem-solving skills, and excellent communication.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years of Systems Engineering experience.
OR Master's degree with 2+ years of experience.
OR PhD with 1+ year of experience.
