Job Description

Our company is currently seeking an experienced Accountant with 4 years of experience who is well-versed in GAAP. This individual will be responsible for preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. This includes preparing monthly journal entries with supporting documentation, monthly accruals, and recording applicable journal entries. The Accountant will also be required to analyze balance sheet accounts and prepare detailed support schedules and monthly account reconciliations. Other duties include maintaining fixed asset and depreciation schedules, preparing intercompany reconciliations, and preparing monthly and quarterly sales and use tax returns. The Accountant will also assist in the preparation of corporate income tax returns and support outside tax preparers. This position also involves managing/supervising a group of Accounting staff and performing other related duties as necessary or assigned.

Qualifications

+ GAAP knowledge

+ Financial statement preparation

+ Journal entry preparation

+ Accrual preparation

+ Account reconciliations

+ Fixed asset and depreciation schedule maintenance

+ Intercompany reconciliation preparation

+ Sales and use tax return preparation

+ Corporate income tax return preparation
