Job Title: Account Executive, Group SalesReports to: Director, Ticket Sales

Contract Type: Permanent, full-time

Location: Columbus, GAAbout the Clingstones:The Columbus Clingstones, the Double-A affiliate of the Atlanta Braves, are set to debut at Synovus Park in April 2025. Playing at the renovated historic Golden Park, the Clingstones aim to combine thrilling baseball action with a vibrant and family-friendly fan experience. As a new cornerstone of the Columbus sports scene, the Clingstones are dedicated to fostering community engagement and developing future Major League talent. The Columbus Clingstones are a proud member club of Diamond Baseball Holdings (DBH). DBH was formed in 2021 to support, promote, and enhance Minor League Baseball through best practices, professional management, innovation, and investment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Represent the organization with the utmost professionalism in the community
  • Generate new business by prospecting, cold calling, appointments, stadium tours, and attending networking/community events
  • Renew all group, hospitality, and season ticket members
  • Work closely with sales and marketing departments to develop compelling sales programs and components focused on long-term business sustainability
  • Maintain a database of contacts and sales progression using [Ticketing System]
  • Meet and/or exceed personal sales goals
  • Meet and/or exceed daily and weekly outbound call/appointment minimums
  • Contribute to overall operation by "answering the call" when assistance is needed in another area of our operation
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 6 months of sales or customer service experience
  • Demonstrate a proven track record in sales and building quality relationships, preferably within the sports industry
  • Have a friendly and professional telephone manner
  • Strong desire to learn about our business and grow your professional career
  • Ability to effectively express ideas verbally and in writing
  • Possess a positive attitude
  • Maintain a flexible work schedule
  • Other duties as assigned
