The ideal Account Manager/Sales Rep has proven success on a mostly commission based compensation plan, has experience managing large B2B accounts (transportation and automotive industry strongly preferred), is a customer service superstar, and can't imagine being in any other role than sales

Responsibilities:

Consulting with Dealers and Key accounts on the use of our transportation services

Cultivating leads and explaining Wholesale Express services to potential clients

Developing trusting and lasting relationships with new dealers/customers, and serving as a consultant to show the services and benefits of Wholesale Express

Providing exceptional customer service to all customers/dealers and potential customers/dealers

Becoming a subject matter expert that will analyze client business needs and propose the best solutions for your dealers/accounts

Performing timely follow-up on all inquiries

Staying up-to-date with changes in the industry, such as competition, trucking industry updates, wholesale industry updates, and selling techniques

More duties as assigned

Requirements

High School Diploma

Minimum of 3+ years experience in a customer service role

Minimum of 5+ years' experience in a B2B Sales Role managing large accounts

Experience in the transportation and/or automotive industries strongly preferred

Enjoys working with guests via phone and internet

Driven to reach goals and to succeed on a performance-based pay-plan (mostly commission)

Works well both in a team environment as well as independently

Self Motivated and Driven

Exceptional interpersonal and customer relation skills

Desire to learn about and keep up to speed on the transportation and automotive industries and competitors

Honest, Loyal, Organized, and Outgoing

Proven ability to build trusting and lasting business relationships

Phone skills

Technology and internet savvy
