JOB SUMMARY: Keep all assigned enterprise applications up and operational, ensure that server hardware, software, and databases are current and operational, oversee and implement new software/hardware, and assist in advanced problem resolution that may occur with enterprise applications

TYPICAL CLASSIFICATION ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

Performs server and application maintenance and updates as specified by vendors and industry standards; work includes use of a variety of management, development and support tools for server applications. Researches new and applicable items for use with County projects, enhancements or existing applications. Performs project management, development, enhancements, implementation, modifications and documentation of County and IT Department projects. Provides Tier 3 and Tier 4 support functions and issue resolution for existing enterprise level applications. Create Knowledgebase articles describing troubleshooting steps and procedures. Provides training on application enhancements, modifications and implementations of County and department projects. May perform special projects, including project management, system integration, system implementation, software development, workflow configuration and application configuration. Maintain absolute confidentiality of work-related issues, customer records, and restricted County information. Perform other related duties as required. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS TO PERFORM WORK

:

Associate's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; AND four years of experience in enterprise network server applications support. OR an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Valid and verifiable IT certifications such as MCP, MCSE, CompTIA A+, CompTIA N+, CCNA, can

be considered as post high school coursework. Preferred Qualifications

:

Valid Arizona State Driver's License. Experience administering Microsoft Exchange Server applications 2010, 2013, and/or 2016. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Maintenance procedures and standards for software applications, hardware and infrastructure. Advanced knowledge of Powershell for server setup, management and troubleshooting, SQL automation, Exchange administration, Active Directory, as well as mass functions/updates. Ability to troubleshoot and determine root cause analysis on Current versions of Microsoft Server Datacenter using MS Server Management Tools suite as well as third party tools. Advanced knowledge of computer systems, including networked and virtualized environments and specialized software applications. Network system access and security guidelines and standards. Extensive knowledge of current versions of Enterprise Microsoft SQL Server environments including T-SQL, DAG configuration and management, troubleshooting with Profiler, and SQL optimization techniques. Knowledge of Citrix Server environments. Knowledge of SCCM packages, deployments and administration. Specific working titles that may be included in this classification:

Microsoft System Center (SCCM) Administrator. Microsoft Exchange Server and Lync/Skype Administrator. JD Edwards Enterprise One Administrator. Elections Technology Administrator. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The work is light and requires exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force to move objects.

The work also requires the ability to finger, grasp, handle, perform repetitive motion, hear, speak, walk, and demonstrate mental and visual acuity
