Key Responsibilities:

The Senior Application Architect oversees significant projects that entail delivering professional support services and managing the integration, implementation, and transition of extensive, intricate systems. Responsibilities include:

  • Designing and developing e-government solutions, ensuring accountability for the technical design and architecture implementation;
  • Creating, developing, and sustaining infrastructure and backend applications;
  • Providing insights on the role of broadband and wireless applications;
  • Defining current architectural blueprints for the state;
  • Offering expertise in web servers, gateways, application servers, and content management systems;
  • Demonstrating experience with web application technologies and middleware solutions;
  • Researching emerging technologies and products for their relevance to business processes;
  • Evaluating various solutions to determine the most effective options;
  • Ensuring that development initiatives are well-structured and adhere to established standards.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field is required. (A Master's degree is preferred.)
  • A minimum of ten (10) years of experience in planning, designing, building, and implementing IT application systems.
  • Experience as a lead architect in a major IT applications implementation project is essential.
  • A strong foundation in software engineering principles and techniques is required.
  • At least six (6) years of experience in designing medium to large-scale sites, with management of at least five Internet projects.
