As a Lovisa Logistics Specialist, you will be responsible for the successful coordination of all Lovisa freight moving in and out of Canada, the United States, and Mexico– including daily contact with all freight and logistics service providers, across air, sea, and land channels, with a focus on delivery performance into stores, delivery performance to end customers (B2C) and close management of all associated costs and KPI’s.
Key Job Responsibilities
Daily supervision and prompt exception management of stock shipments from DC to stores in assigned markets (CA, US, & MX)- including Zendesk tickets.
Working with Customs agents to ensure flawless execution of the Customs clearance process to deliver goods on time on time to the warehouse or to the store directly.
Tracking the status of all stock shipped from the warehouse to stores to ensure on-time delivery.
Exception management by collaborating closely with courier companies to solve all delivery issues.
Coordinating and monitoring transport of goods (stock and non-stock) delivery in accordance with new stores' dispatch schedule.
Ongoing support of customs processes, duty mitigation, and compliance initiatives.
Managing claims related to lost goods and service quality including raising claims, filling in claim forms, and claim status tracking.
Processing duty and freight invoices to ensure proper booking and on-time payments.
Supporting initiatives and cost-saving opportunities.
Report on carrier performance, lead times, and cost to serve flagging concerns to Line Manager.
Ensure the accuracy of all shipping documents - gather and maintain all data records relative to shipping activities.
Consult with warehouse management to ensure that all outgoing shipments are compliant with local regulations/carrier requirements, are correctly packaged, and have the correct documentation attached.
Deliver key Projects and Initiatives as required. Drive change management to support.
Work closely with Internationally based counterparts, share market knowledge, and backfill for this position when required.
Other ad hoc tasks related to Logistics and Warehousing.
About The Team
Lovisa Logistics is responsible for optimizing cost-effective stock flow from Suppliers to final mile delivery. The Americas Logistics team is responsible for the cost, speed, and service levels of the inbound stock to our DC and outbound stock to Lovisa’s 225+ stores across the Americas market. Our customers are Lovisa stores and retail teams. Our objective is to deliver on time, cost savings, and optimal services to all Lovisa stores.
Basic Qualifications
Associate’s degree in supply chain management, Business, or related technical field
2+ years supply chain/logistics experience; shipment tracking, shipment claims, scheduling pick up & deliveries, shipment reporting, processing financial invoices etc.
(Internship experience in lieu of work experience OK)
Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, XLOOKUP, VLOOKUP, IF formulas, etc.)
Must possess excellent organizational and prioritization skills in a fast-paced environment and can manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
Effective communication and people skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Must be able to work from Distribution Center 100% of the time
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, or related technical field
4+ years’ experience working in domestic/international shipping, or supply chain/logistics.
Prior experience working for a large freight carrier e.g., UPS, DHL, FedEx
Customs clearance, or brokerage experience
Fluent in Spanish
(Preferred but not required)
