The Customer Service Operations Specialist is essential to our operational framework. As a third-party logistics provider (3PL), R2 Logistics delivers shipping solutions to manufacturing clients across the nation. This role ensures effective communication from order placement to freight delivery, enabling us to maintain the highest standards of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Management: Precisely inputting customer orders into the transportation management system while accounting for variations in linehaul costs, fuel surcharges, and client specifications.
  • Shipment Monitoring: Engaging with contracted carriers through phone and email to track their locations.
  • Issue Resolution: Actively investigating challenges that arise during transit, evaluating their effects on delivery schedules, and collaborating with team members to devise solutions for timely delivery.
  • Appointment Coordination: Organizing pickup and delivery schedules via phone and email; notifying team members of any scheduling conflicts.
