Key Responsibilities of the Facility Maintenance Specialist include:
  • Comprehensive cleaning of restrooms and break areas, including routine maintenance of break room appliances and sanitation of waste receptacles.
  • Dusting and maintaining cleanliness in office spaces.
  • Scrubbing, mopping, and sweeping floors, along with restocking supplies in communal areas.
  • Ensuring all indoor spaces meet cleanliness standards, including sanitizing and maintaining assigned facilities, while accurately recording and reporting completed tasks.
  • Understanding and adhering to safety protocols when using cleaning agents and equipment.
To excel as a Facility Maintenance Specialist, you should possess strong cleaning and sanitation skills, with the ability to work independently on regular tasks. Compliance with safety standards is essential, along with proficiency in using the necessary tools and equipment. You will be expected to follow established business processes and utilize technology platforms as required by FST Logistics.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • A minimum of 2 years of custodial experience, preferably in commercial cleaning.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license.
  • Ability to comprehend and execute verbal and written instructions.
  • Strong multitasking and organizational capabilities to manage various duties.
  • Effective time management and problem-solving skills.
  • Capacity to perform tasks efficiently with minimal oversight.
  • Flexibility to collaborate with team members or work independently.
  • Commitment to adhering to safety regulations and procedures.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand or walk for 8-10 hours daily.
  • Capability to lift up to 50 lbs when necessary.
  • Ability to bend, crouch, push, reach, kneel, and perform repetitive motions for extended periods.
