Fleet Warranty Manager- $2000 Signing Bonus

Position Overview

No company can promise uncompromised customer satisfaction without the people to back up and deliver that promise. At Arnold, we have assembled the most comprehensive machinery support team in the western United States. There is nothing in our inventory as valuable as the associates who carry our reputation into the marketplace.

You will oversee the warranty business for our service department. The Warranty Admin prepares, records, and reconciles warranty claims and submits them to the factory and distributors for defective parts.

Essential Job Functions

* Leadership experience over a team of at least 3 associates, using hands-on management, support, and can hold self and team members accountable. * Warranty and Service background * Prepare and process warranty documentation according to manufacturer guidelines * Submit claims quickly and efficiently * Verify criteria required by factory or distributor, correct all errors * Post credits on the computer * Follow up with the factory and distributors regarding unpaid claims * File Repair Orders * Adjust and resubmit any denied claims to secure payment for warranty work * Acting as a liaison between the customer and the dealership * Promoting and ensuring customer satisfaction by assisting with the enhancement of labor and parts sales * Writing up, monitoring, reviewing, and assisting with job closing * Accurately determine if a machine warranty applies. Advise customers of warranty status before performing any service. If unable to decide on status due to lack of information, inform the customer that the job will be charged as revenue until information identifies it as a warranty * Works with the Service Manager to ensure that repairs are performed within the labor hours quoted or estimated to the customer * On jobs where written authorization is not obtained before dispatch of a mechanic, follow up with the Service Manager that the mechanic obtains the signature of the customer's representative before the start of the job * Excellent computer skills * Assist the Parts Manager with returning warranty parts.

* Candidate with an ambitious and proactive attitude, and strong work ethic * Detail-oriented with an ability to solve problems with little direct supervision * Proficiency with Microsoft Excel & Word * Good mathematical proficiency * Experience with the Reflection Program helpful

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:

* Ability to sit for extended periods * Reaches to answer phones * Read paperwork, files, and records on the computer * Communicates by phone and in person * Bends body to file various paperwork * Walking and moving about on foot often through uneven terrain * Hears well enough to receive communication by radio, phone, and in person * Bends body downward and forward by bending at knees or waist * Remains in a standing position if required to perform various functions of the job

Education:

* High School Diploma or equivalent * Related experience could be a substitution for school requirements
