We are currently seeking a skilled Customer Service Representative - Part Time for our Stevedoring and/or Cargo Handling operations. The purpose of this position is to accurately and efficiently maintain inventory and cargo operations. Details: Scheduling: Monday - Friday, 9AM - 3PM Compensation and Benefits: $18-$20/hr. Based on experience Advancement Opportunities: We strive to promote from within, cross-train, and develop our current workforce. We also work diligently to expand on skills with cross-training and travel opportunities. Responsibilities: Maintain Inventories Data Entry Excel data tracking Process paperwork to ensure timely loading of cargo Inventory reporting Customer Service Assisting customers/clients with inventory questions Coordinating shipments with customers Coordinating with railroads or third-party logistics and trucking companies for order pickup. General Duties Coordinating with warehouse operations as needed Assisting team with time entry for payroll purposes Analyzing logistics operation for improvements Assisting with outbound shipments Qualifications: High School Diploma or Equivalent Telephone Etiquette Computer Skills Excel, Office, Outlook, and web-based inventory tracking programs Ability to read, write, speak, and communicate effectively in English Ability to obtain a TWIC card (for more information visit the TSA website on TWIC requirements) Valid US driver's license Other Details: As a port employer, our team is subject to working in all weather conditions including extreme heat and harsh winters.
