Senior Electrical Engineer

Support design, implementation and/or test of complex electrical/electronic equipment and systems Interpret and implement specific design and test requirements Analyze and support update of technical documentation for legacy aircraft systems Perform technical analysis for subsystem components and/or software, component validation/verification, risk analyses and assessments of component supportability and design effectiveness in the context of subsystem or other derived requirements Apply focused or specialized knowledge to resolve design issues that have an impact to subsystem or task area Ensure the logical and systematic derivation of component and associated interface requirements into design solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints; identify and quantify associated risks Work through Program Managers and IPT leaders to achieve optimum program/functional cost/technical/schedule execution Support team growth through opportunity identification and Business Development support as required Ensure a diverse and inclusive culture of respect and trust Other duties as assigned RequirementsEducation/Training (both required and desired): Bachelor's Degree in relevant engineering or science discipline required Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in the required task area Background in developing and/or testing aircraft and/or military components preferredStrong attention to detailExperience in functional and/or program leadership including technical or IPT leadershipStrong leadership capability and able to influence, instruct, guide, and mentor a team of engineersPresentation skills suitable to lead technical reviews and meetings, internal and externalExperience supporting business development or bid efforts including technical responses, generation of costs/technical BOEsPossess Can-Do attitude with ability to identify and execute required steps to bring projects to successful closureSecurity:Must be a US citizenAbility to obtain a security clearance may be requiredBenefitsHealth Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision) Retirement Plan (401k, IRA) Life Insurance (Basic, Voluntary & AD&D) Paid Time Off (Vacation, Sick & Public Holidays) Short Term & Long Term Disability Training & Development Wellness Resources
