Job Summary

KIHOMAC is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Systems Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and testing complex electrical and electronic equipment and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Development: Interpret and implement specific design and test requirements for electrical and electronic equipment and systems.
  • Technical Analysis: Analyze and support the update of technical documentation for legacy aircraft systems, including subsystem components and software.
  • Component Validation: Perform technical analysis for subsystem components and/or software, component validation/verification, risk analyses, and assessments of component supportability and design effectiveness.
  • Design Solutions: Ensure the logical and systematic derivation of component and associated interface requirements into design solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
  • Program Leadership: Work through Program Managers and IPT leaders to achieve optimum program/functional cost/technical/schedule execution.
  • Team Growth: Support team growth through opportunity identification and Business Development support as required.
  • Culture: Ensure a diverse and inclusive culture of respect and trust.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in a relevant engineering or science discipline is required.
  • Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in the required task area is required.
  • Background: Background in developing and/or testing aircraft and/or military components is preferred.
  • Skills: Strong attention to detail, experience in functional and/or program leadership, including technical or IPT leadership, strong leadership capability, and presentation skills suitable to lead technical reviews and meetings.
  • Security: Must be a US citizen, ability to obtain a security clearance may be required.
