The Data Partnerships team at Epsilon is responsible for establishing partnerships with 3rd party data vendors and strategic platforms that support the EPC platform offerings, creating the proprietary Epsilon data assets that enhance EPC platform capabilities, and working directly with agency and client partners on how to best leverage Epsilon and partner data to achieve their objectives.

Epsilon is seeking a Director to focus on the inclusion of EPC Audiences within client advertiser campaigns to support Epsilon's growth goals with the monetization of Activation via EPC platforms (Discovery, Prospect, Digital CDP etc.).

This role will report into the Epsilon Data Partnerships team, and will be responsible for creating Best Practices for EPC Audience Activation. This person will work closely with Publicis Groupe agencies to facilitate the implementation of these Best Practices in digital media campaigns to help client teams streamline campaign planning and operations, yield optimal performance from Epsilon assets, support the creation of and delivery against an EPC Audience budget forecast, and increase overall Epsilon revenue through driving adoption of EPC Audiences. You will be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for EPC Audience Activation, and agency media planning & buying teams will rely on your expertise to get the best outcomes from EPC platforms and data.

The primary stakeholders for this position will include Publicis Groupe media agencies (Starcom, Zenith, Spark, Digitas, etc.), Epsilon/Publicis Groupe Executive Leadership, Managing Director of EPC Data Platforms, EPC Product Leads, Epsilon Sales & Account teams, and direct Epsilon clients.

What you'll do:

Design "Best Practices" for EPC Audience Activation and help Publicis Groupe agencies implement these practices in the following areas:

Audience Strategy

- Recommend, architect, and/or build EPC Audiences based on advertiser objectives. Help drive demand for attribute based audiences using data from client 1P tags, and our other data assets. Campaign Design

- Provide guidance for campaign setup and configuration to facilitate the inclusion of EPC Audiences in targets across programmatic, social, and other related channels, including Epsilon DMS. Media Optimization

- Share practices for optimizing campaigns to perform best with EPC Audiences. AdOps and Delivery Reporting

- Consult on campaign reporting framework to source information as needed for reconciliation and other use cases. ROI Analysis

- Help agencies evaluate EPC Audience performance to promote/support/defend positioning to end clients. Budget Management -

Provide guidance on setting accurate and predictable budgets to support investment in EPC Audience.

Evangelize the differentiated benefits of EPC Audiences, proprietary data assets, and joint partner solutions that support EPC Activation. Become proficient in EPC platforms and data sources to uncover insights and design EPC Audiences according to business objectives, including basic knowledge of SQL and Python. Work alongside agency teams as needed to support adoption and collaborate with them in a consultative manner. Help to forecast and track revenue associated with EPC Audience usage, and operate in a way that ensures revenue forecasts are on or above target. Support Sales, New Business, and Client Teams as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for EPC Audiences, commercial offerings, and the EPC activation process. Provide client user feedback to product to improve future iterations of Epsilon offerings. Create necessary content to support evangelism and adoption of Best Practices. About you:

7+ years professional experience in advertising, digital marketing, media planning, or similar. Knowledge of digital media campaign configuration, activation, optimization and reporting processes. Previous hands-on experience with DSPs (e.g. DV360, The Trade Desk), DMPs (Adobe Audience Manager, Salesforce DMP, Oracle DMP), Media Management (Prisma by Mediaocean), Social Network Ad Managers (Meta, Snap, TikTok), SSPs (Index Exchange, Magnite, PubMatic) and/or Data Onboarding (LiveRamp, Neustar). Excellent communicator and presenter with all stakeholders of varying levels and skilled backgrounds, and proficiency for creating informative and educational content for wide-scale distribution. Autonomous decision-making & problem-solving to represent the best interests of Epsilon, clients, Publicis Groupe, and its agencies. Organized, detail-oriented, and process-minded; but also creative, flexible, and a strategic thinker. Comfortable working with ambiguity in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
