We are seeking a highly skilled Data Science Director to lead our Sharing Experiences Organization at Instagram. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing our data science team to drive business growth and inform product strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Partner with Product, Engineering, and cross-functional teams to inform and execute product strategy and investment decisions.
  2. Lead and grow a team of data scientists to drive business outcomes.
  3. Apply your expertise in quantitative analysis, data mining, and data presentation to develop data-informed strategies for growing and improving our product offerings.
  4. Collaborate with other teams across the Facebook Family of Apps to drive business growth and improve product offerings.
Requirements
  1. 10+ years of experience managing analytics teams, working collaboratively with Product, Engineering, and cross-functional partners, and guiding data-influenced product planning, prioritization, and strategy development.
  2. Demonstrated experience in hiring, retaining, and scaling diverse, geographically dispersed, high-performing teams.
  3. Proven experience influencing product strategy and driving change across org boundaries through clear and compelling communication of data-driven insights and analyses.
  4. Intellectual curiosity, decisiveness, and ability to navigate ambiguity and complexity.
